Wedding of the Week!

Below are images from a beautiful June wedding at the UNC Botanical Gardens. Robin Lin from Robin Lin Photography took these amazing images and Kailey from A Southern Soiree was the wonderful coordinatior. My favorite image is the bridal bouquet, which includes whites & ivories with peonies, roses, spray roses, lisianthus, stock and garden roses accented with rosemary and dusty miller.

The fantastic dress is a Jenny Packham dress from our bridal store.

Thank you to Robin Lin for the beautiful photographs.

The Bella Brides!

With all of the beautiful brides we have worked with lately, I thought it would be fun to start featuring them on our blog!

Bridget & Trevor – Fearrington Village

Bridget is absolutely ADORABLE! She decided on a beautiful strapless gown with an empire waist. The bodice has a flower appliqué on it that matches Bridget’s sweet personality! We added a delicate lace bolero which Bridget wore during the ceremony. Completing her look is a soft tulle veil cascading down her back.

Bridget’s bridesmaids wore Siri Bridesmaid Dresses in Celery Satin that complimented her gown.

It was great working with Bridget and her mom, Kathy! We wish Bridget & Trevor a lifetime of happiness!! Thanks to Caroline Lima Photography for the pictures!

Milk & Honey Shoes.

I was talking with one of my lovely brides the other day about where she got her wedding shoes. As most brides know, wedding shoes are an elusive item…it’s hard to find the perfect pair. This stylish bride mentioned that she had ordered her pair from Milk & Honey Shoes.

I haven’t been to their site in a while and thought I would check it out today. Let me say, I’m glad that I did! Brides and non-bride shoe lovers get ready to spend a couple of hours on their website designing your ultimate shoes. It can be a bit tricky to get a hang of at first, but is well worth the effort!

Exciting Photo Shoot!

We were very lucky to be asked to do the flowers for a photo shoot styled and shot by Cole from Blest Photography and Katie from Katie Pietrowski Photography. They decided on a wool theme and pulled the coolest photo shoot together at a sheep farm. Below are images from the photo shoot (the first image is by Katie and the rest are by Cole). Not only are these photographers talented but they are SUPER nice, professional, and overall awesome people.

For flowers we incorporated roses, daffodils, succulents, fiddlehead ferns, ranunculus, artichokes, stock and a variety of greenery. The bouquet and boutonniere are wrapped in twine. The napkin flowers are spray roses with fiddlehead ferns wrapped in gray velvet.

Thank you to Cole and Katie!
