Wedding of the Week!

We love these beautiful images from mcg photography!! We traveled to Hilton Head last October for this amazing wedding. The lovely and very sweet bride carried a bouquet of white cymbidium orchids and then had reds, greens and browns for the bridesmaid bouquet and centerpieces. Roses, cymbidium orchids, mokara orchids, calla lilies, fiddleheads were the main flowers used.

And this wedding was just featured online at The Wedding Row - http://theweddingrow.com/hilton_head/.

In the Details.

We are always amazed at our brides' creative ideas. It's so fun to see sometimes how new and creative ideas of theirs can really get us excited!

This weekend we had a bouquet that was truly breathtaking for a bride who married in Raleigh. Her bouquet was all white but with subtle hints of greenery and blueberries. Of course the lush white garden roses and peonies are beautiful but the blueberries were my absolute favorite! The monogramed ribbon with the bride's new initials wrapped around the navy and white grosgrain ribbon was a very special added touch too! I really think this bouquet is pure perfection.

Another fruity and special added touch we had this weekend was peaches. I saw the beautiful wooden boxes come together and was immediately in love. The bright pops of the Zinian's are so awesome in the boxes! Then with the brides request we added a peach to the arrangement. I think it was such a wonderful addition and helped to make the arrangement very unique.

The second added touch of peaches for the wedding was incorporated into the fluted pedestals for the tall arrangements. We added peaches into the glass fluted cylinder and it added such a great element to the arrangement on the table!

Hope you enjoy these special little details that I believe added some awe to the flowers!

Our Bella Bride Anne.

Anne is one of those people that you just have to be happy around. She just has an infectious smile and a great personality that makes your day a little brighter. So when she came in looking for her wedding gown, it had to reflect her warm spirit. We found the perfect gown for her with a San Patrick modified A-line lace gown. With its straight across neckline and scalloped detail, panels of lace and subtle beading, the gown was stunning on Anne. We added a simple elegant pearl and crystal belt that added the perfect detail to her waist. Then to complete the bridal look, a simple piped edge veil. It showed off how gorgeous Anne is inside and out.

Thank you Christopher Ferrer of Dara Blakely Photography for these amazing photos!

The Cookery!

The Cookery's Front Room, one of the newest event venues in downtown Durham, recently invited us to create arrangements to compliment their rustic yet elegant space. Since the Front Room features handmade metalwork from salvaged materials, large, historic pieces like old tobacco warehouse shutters, and classic, turn of the century fixtures, we wanted to add pops of color that also complement the earthy tones of this unique space.

Since The Cookery's bartenders wear 20's era attire at all of their events (the men wear suit vests and suspenders, women wear flapperesque dresses and 20's era jewelry), we immediately thought of our collection of mercury glassware! Mercury glass tea candle holders and vases add an element of shabby chic, but don't steal the limelight from our fresh flowers :)

Our tall, silver vases are perfect to add a bit of drama to buffet and hors d'oeuvres tables, too - 20 foot ceilings deserve arrangements with height!

Since The Cookery rented linens from Party Tables that featured champagne, bright white, and slate-like blues and purples, we chose soft, muted pink roses, calla lilies, classic white orchids, fuji mums for bursts of bright green, and light purple stock to complement the frosted hyacinth cocktail table sashes.

Instead of traditional arrangements for the dining tables, we embraced the space's eclectic look with an eclectic arrangement of flowers! Our apothecary vases, scattered with mercury glass tea lights and an assortment of our best blooms, gave visual interest down the entire table make the arrangement feel effortless!

Check out this great space for your next wedding, rehearsal dinner, or event.

Recently.

I want to share a few pictures from some pretty special weddings that have happened recently! They are both full of beautiful colors! The first is a wedding from The Duke Gardens one of my very favorite wedding venues! The flowers were beautiful and with the natural amazing scenery that there is at the gardens it was a wonderful wedding!

I loved the tall arrangements and they sure did pop on the bright raspberry linens!

The cocktail tables had stunning arrangements that were small but so beautiful!

I loved this collection and I can't wait to see what it looked like from the professional pictures with the candle lighting added to the tables!

Beautiful Sarah Duke Gardens

This past weekend we had a beautiful wedding reception at the Cotton Room. I loved how elegant and pretty Cotton Room looked this past Saturday night!

Breathtaking! All the colors were so beautiful together!

The bright bridesmaid bouquets were such an awesome pop against the chic white lounge furniture!

Wonderful lighting hitting the tall arrangements

Loved these pedestal arrangements with the hydrangea leafs against the bright hues of the flowers!

Shot of part of the room

Perfect sweet and simple sweethearts table!

Hope you enjoyed these as much as I did! I'm not sure how you couldn't love what these two brides and family picked out for the wonderful celebrations!

Our Bella Bride Leanna!!

Leanna is as sweet as a person can be! I always looked forward to seeing her and her mother – they were a wonderful family to be around. We were so happy to not only be involved in Leanna’s wedding gown but also with her wedding flowers!

Leanna’s wedding gown was a San Patrick strapless dropped waist A-line gown with sequin details on the bodice. The full skirt was made of tulle and had a beautiful cathedral length train. We added a beautiful belt to the gown and a cathedral length tulle veil to complete the look.

Thank you to Carol Hedspeth of Conway Photo Shop for the great photos! Thank you Leanna for coming in and being one of our Bella Brides!

Wedding of the Week!

Below are breathtaking images taken by Dara Blakeley from Dara Blakeley Photography – an early fall wedding in downtown Durham. Amanda from A Swanky Affair was the coordinator and we loved the details she and the bride incorporated into the wedding (check out the awesome plates and runners on the tables :)).

Succulents and Ferns!

Over the weekend there were a few of my favorite greenery plants peeping into things. Just a touch of simple greenery can make the best added detail along with flowers.

We are big fans of Succulents at Tre Bella!
Here are two pictures of some of our favorites!

Luckily our brides love them too! It is so much fun for us to add a Succulent to a bouquet! It is amazing how unique and interesting they make a bouquet. Look at this amazing bouquet from the weekend! The succulent is not overbearing but such a great accent to the bouquet!

Another wedding this weekend had a wonderful accent of ferns, ranunculuses, moss and natural flowers. It was such a great combination with the greenery potted in soil and the accents of the greenery. I think the arrangements with predominantly green color on the tan linens made such a wonderful statement. I love the long farm style table with moss runner! Simple yet beautiful with the the touch of white! I hope you enjoy!
